What Derby Crash 2 is about
You drive a vehicle around a 3D map and destroy your opponents by ramming them, all while trying to keep your own car running. Unlike most derby games, you are not stuck on a track. You can leave the arena and roam wide desert terrain, then charge back in. The sequel keeps the wrecking from the first game and adds monster trucks and a battle tank with a working cannon.

The whole game runs on the keyboard, with a few keys set aside for keeping a damaged car alive.

Picking a vehicle
Each machine fights differently, so swapping vehicles changes your whole approach to a match.

Shaping the ground and winning fights
A terraform tool lets you raise and carve the terrain with the mouse and number keys, so you can build ramps or walls before a fight. A few habits help you wreck more cars:
- Hit the sides and rear of enemy cars to deal more damage than a head-on crash.
- Press R to repair when your car is nearly done, and Enter to reset if you flip.
- In the tank, keep your distance and use the cannon instead of ramming.
